The Prometheus Project
« on: February 28, 2008, 12:05:53 AM »
It has been announced at the Plastiq Musiq site (and the Joy Electric forum) as being released March 10 this year.

This is the blurb:

Quote from: Andy Bird
[…]I would like to announce the coming release of "The Prometheus Project" this March. A collaboration between Jon Sonnenberg (Travelogue) and Israel Slick (Red Orchestra) set in a sci-fi, horror scene surrounded by beautiful electronics and haunting verse. Being released on March 10th.

I will be preordering this as soon as I can! Now that I’ve got a clearer idea of what this is all about (also based on what Jon has said here recently), I can truly say I am completely excited about it and I think the pairing and concept is just brilliant.

(Yeah, yeah, we already have a topic on this, but… it was different)

I got the Prometheus Project CDs in the mail yesterday.  I will have advanced copies at Autobahn.

I am hoping to get advanced copies of the acoustic album for Autobahn as well, but I don't think I will know this until Friday.

when is autobahn, and would you prefer us to buy these straight from you or through plastiq musiq?
which would benefit your desires more.
i am definitely going to order prometheus project this weekend, is the acoustic album available for pre-order yet cause i could just do both at the same time if that's the case (early b-day gifts).

Sorry about the delay.  I have been very busy in the aftermath of the crazy storm that we had.  I have been busy getting shippments of CD's in and counting them to divide them between Israel, Andy, and myself.

I will have both the acoustic album and Prometheus up for sale through the website by this weekend.

hey guys,

have you gotten to listen to the 2 prometheus project songs over on the plastiq musiq myspace page http://www.myspace.com/plastiqmusiq ?
also, i hit http://artoftravelogue.com/catalog.html this morning and it looks like "acoustic selections" is up for sale in the store.

i'm excited, it's going to be cool to hear them in their entirety.
i've got prometheus on order so i'm definitely ordering "acoustic selections" as soon as i can.

Recalcitrant was a vocab word in English class, and so was circumvent (which was in the lyrics). Funny. These songs are both weird, but they also really make me want to hear the entire album.
