test audience
« on: February 06, 2009, 10:18:26 AM »
so this new one i wrote the other night hasn't been sitting right with me.
i was hoping to get some feedback on what you think of it.
if you think it plain sux, then don't be afraid to say so.
if you like it, then let me know.
either way i haven't decided this is a keeper yet and am trying to decide where to file it at this time.

any edits and/or updates will be marked with (*) while the original versions will be displayed with (#) signs

(i decided to generalize the lyrix more, rather than personalize them, as well as fix a few ways i worded some things.) 2/12/9

. . . does God listen to our dissonance . . .

so many things we say are useless
and we just can't figure out
quite how to stop this
it seems an endless pointless conversation
with an undetermined fate
upon a fixed destination
we keep on talking and running our mouths
but we just can't seem to shut up
to get the "hell" out of it
is this the only thing left to hope for
to have the realization
but not the what for
if only there was time
to throw the wasted words away
would you stay for the show
or would you quickly abandon me
i know it's oh so terrifying

*to live with one's crimes
but collision with reality
is all that's driving our minds*

#to live in a brain
where collision with reality
can drive you insane#

welcome to conformity
the end of the pain
we get so high on self abandonment
because self destruction
brings so many fans with it
pitty parties by day
and sorrow covens by night
but you could lose it all quick
just by seeking the Light

does God listen to our dissonance?
is God responding in the resonance?
(repeat 2x)

(repeat song)
